Replacing the Hit-A-Way Trainer:

Replacement Hit-A-Way trainers for the PTS are available on

You will need a wrench to replace the Hit-A-Way trainer.

1. Set-up your PTS as if you were going to use it 

(pg 4)

2.  Using the wrench, remove the nut and washers from  

the upper and lower integrated cord loop and set  
them aside. 

3.  Pull out the upper loop and slip off the old Hit-A-Way 

trainer. Repeat on the bottom.

4.  Take the new Hit-A-Way trainer and slip the top cord 

loop onto the upper loop. Then slip the bottom cord 
onto the lower pole loop. Make sure the you can  
properly read the Hit-A-Way logo on the height  
adjustment sleeve before attaching the loop back onto 
the PTS pole.

5.  Slide the upper and lower loops back on to the PTS pole and completely 

secure with the washers and nuts using the wrench.
