OPERATING THE UNIT
Initial Use
Plug in and switch on the cellar by pressing on the power button
for a few seconds.
When you use the wine cellar for the first time (or restart the wine cellar after having it shut off for a long time), there
will be a few degrees variance between the temperature you have selected and the one indicated on the LED readout.
This is normal and it is due to the length of the activation time. Once the wine cellar is running for a few hours
everything will stabilize.
IMPORTANT:
If the unit is unplugged, power is lost, or turned off, wait 3 to 5 minutes before restarting the unit. The
wine cellar will not start if you attempt to restart before this time delay.
Control Panel Lock
The unit is equipped with an automatic control panel lock function. This function will prevent any unwanted changes to
your temperature or power settings. The lock function will activate automatically 5 seconds after the last time a button
is pushed on the control panel.
To unlock the control panel lock, press and hold both the
and
buttons for 3 seconds the control panel will beep
and blink once indicating that the control panel is active and the settings can be changed. You must unlock the control
panel every time you want to set the temperature, change the display setting (°F/°C) turn on or off the light and to
power off the cellar.
Control Panel for Dual Zone Models
To control the temperature:
The wine cooler has two displays; an Upper Zone Display on the left side and a Lower
Zone Display on the right side.
Press the up button
and the down button
to adjust the temperature. Only the set temperature will be displayed.
Turn on / off the light: the wine cooler has a headlight. Use the Light button to power the lamp.
For the side lights, the factory setting is that they will light ON automatically and gradually when you open the door.
When you close the door, the side lights will light OFF automatically. If you want to keep the side lights ON
continuously, 1) open the door. 2) unlock the panel. 3) press the Left “Light” button to turn OFF the light. 4) press it
again to turn ON. From then, the side lights will always stay ON.
If you want to recover the factory setting, 1) open the door. 2) unlock the panel. 3) turn the side lights OFF. When you
open the door again, it will turn on automatically and gradually.
To change the temperature display:
The temperature displayed can be in Fahrenheit or Celsius. Press the
button to switch between °F and °C.
Control panel for Single Zone models
To control the temperature:
The wine cooler only has one display. To adjust the temperature, unlock first, then press
button or button for higher or lower temperature.
