Congratulations! Your Universal Remote Control (URC) is a state-of-the-art
device which integrates many different Infra-red remote controls to deliver
instant A/V control action to your fingertips.
Before operating the remote, please read thoroughly 1) descriptions of the
coversheet and 2) this manual. Then, reserve them for future reference.
Alkaline batteries are recommended. 2 x AAA Required.
1. Remove the battery cover on the back side of your URC.
2. Observe the polarity of the batteries and the “+/–“ marks inside the
battery compartment.
3. Insert the batteries accordingly.
4. Push the battery cover back in place.
Before your URC can operate your A/V devices, you have to go through one
of the following SIMPLE set up procedures to set up your URC.
• For FOXTEL
• By Entering Device Code
• By Searching Through Library
• By Auto Search
By Entering Device Code
You may set up the URC by following Device Code Entering instructions:
1. Find the appropriate DEVICE CODE in the DEVICE CODE LIST section of
this instruction manual, check the 4-digit Device Code which corresponds
to the brands of your A/V equipment. If there are more than ONE Device
Code listed under your brand, try from the first code until you find the
correct code.
2. Select a desired Device Mode (e.g. TV, if you want to set up your URC to
operate your TV)
3. Press and Hold the key followed by the desired Device Mode key
(e.g. ), the LED indicator will light up.
4. Release both keys.
5. Use the number keys to enter your 4-digital Device Code, the
indicator should go out immediately.
(Turn on your device (e.g. TV), try the function keys on the URC. If your device
(e.g. TV) responds to your invoked function correctly, you have entered the
right Device Code. Otherwise, repeat the above set up instructions with the
next available Device Codes until your device (e.g. TV) responds to your
invoked function, and most keys work correctly)

The BW600 is unique. It is unlike other URC. Foxtel has been preprogrammed
into its own dedicated button. Simply push the button to operate. No
programming required. In the case of duel function the Foxtel command has
been screen printed onto the remote.
