#1 Design

The ‘SK ClickClick’ Quick Release System was designed for riders who are looking for a
compact, lightweight, functional, high-end and safe solution for the connection between their
kite and harness. The major benefits of this product compared to other release systems are
three-fold;  lightweight, small in size and a low friction integrated ball-bearing swivel. These
benefits will bring the kite bar closer to the body, allow your kite equipment to be lighter and
allow the untwisting of your front lines to be easier than ever before. This device has not been
designed for riders who practice unhooked (disconnecting the release system from the harness)
manoeuvres or any kind of soaring/flying application.

This Quick Release System was designed to be used exclusively in combination with an SK
control bar and a rig manufactured by SK Shapes. The SK ClickClick has been designed for
experienced riders and professional athletes.

#2 Replacing the Depower & Safety Line

When the depower line or the safety line need to be replaced, make sure to use parts exclusively
provided by SK Shapes. Parts from other manufacturers may impede the proper functioning of
the system.

Replacing or changing the depower line is relatively easy. Follow the instructions below:

Loosen the two screws

on the bottom plate

spinner with a 2mm hex

key.

Make sure that all parts are

present:  two screws, bottom

plate spinner and the

dogbone.

Guide the depower line

through the entire release

system and put the dogbone

into the eyesplice loop of the

depower line.

Insert the doggone into the

bottom plate spinner and

place the two screws in the

holes.

Place the assembled bottom

plate spinner into the cavity

and tighten the screws

(torque: 0.5Nm - finger tight).
