Gas spring 
 
Hydraulics/gas spring 
Grab at least one of the 
handles that are 
positioned on the side of 
the back rest. 
 

 

Push the handle up and 
the gas spring helps to 
raise the back rest 
(variably adjustable). 
 
Lowering the backrest 
Push the handle in again 
and push the back rest 
down.

Ensure that no unauthorized persons are in the couch's working range, as a
