User Manual - SC-MB Configuration - Rev1.7.docx
The SC-MB controls inputs and outputs. As such we are compatible with any flight simulation software in
existence. The real question is whether we have already developed a solution for your chosen add-on.
We are compatible with Flight Simulation software with different solutions. We have native configuration
with ProSim, scripts for iFly and a free connector for X-plane11: OrbitXP. You can find our full software
compatibility table on our website and datasheets.
All of these software solutions are compatible with our SC-MB. The only condition to be able to use these
solutions is to follow the contact map (aka Wiring Schedule) of our Plug&Fly modules.
If you decide to change the contact map in a “Custom” simulator, you will need to write your own script.
#Common or Separate GND?
Common.
There is a manual for converting common GND to Separate GND for a dual concentric Rotary Encoder on our
website (inside the datasheet of this component).
#Is there a maximum number of daughter boards?
Yes
. You may connect 2 Input cards, 2 Output cards, 2 Display cards, one Servo board (which can control 16
servos) and an analog input board to an SC-MB motherboard.
See the ‘
User Manual
–
SimCard Features’ for
more information.
The names you give to these cards is important. By using one single 10 wire ribbon cable to connect all of the
daughter boards; the two Input board which you use must be named differently; for example, SC-IN1 on one
of the cards, SC-IN2 for the second. Therefore, if you already own one input card and it has a name, we must
know about this.
#One LED not working on a 7Segment Display
Displays have a life expectancy of around 2000 hours. If, for instance, MCP displays start failing they can be
easily replaced by the user.
#The CONFIG PAGE doesn’t appear
You cannot see the configuration pages for these products in the browser for some reason.
1.
Have you changed the IP address of the Motherboard? If you did, the IP address you write on the
http address bar (on your browser) will also change
2.
Have you tried resetting the default values? See section
6.1
3.
Do you have a separate Wi-
Fi internet connection? Review the IP addresses and verify there isn’t an
overlap.
4.
If you have more than one Sismo Module, there is a possibility that you have used the same IP address
more than once or that the Network ID in the network are different. If you want to check this easily;
download some Network Scanning software from google. This lets you see easily the IPv4 addresses
which are being used in the network.
#Windows 10 update
Windows updates can cause changes in IP addresses under certain circumstances. Verify that everything is
still configured if you get errors after an update.
