Turbine / air motor / other air-driven instruments
The turbine hose has a standardized coupling as per ISO 9168.
Operation of a highspeed handpiece with the pneumatic foot switch
If your simulation unit is equipped with the pneumatic foot control, the
drive air for the turbine can be regulated by the foot pedal.
If instruments with a high air flow rate (e.g., SIROBoost from Sirona) are
operated with the pneumatic foot switch, the operating pressure is
reduced from 2.9 bar to 2.7 bar.

Using the highspeed handpiece
EasyPad user interface
When the highspeed handpiece is removed from the holder, a short
vertical bar appears on the right side of the EasyPad display. Press the
foot switch to start the instrument.
EasyTouch user interface
When the highspeed handpiece is removed from the holder, a highspeed
handpiece signal appears on the touchscreen.

Setting the light of the highspeed handpiece
Instrument light optional with INTEGO
The instrument light supply is optional in SIM MODULAR.
Halogen lamps cannot be operated with the SIM MODULAR simulation
unit.
The voltage or current can be limited for the LED lamp of the highspeed
handpiece. The power supply for the instrument light can also be
switched off.
The original Sirona halogen and LED lamps are usually operated at 3.6
V. For lamps made by other manufacturers, the settings may have to be
adjusted.

Overvoltages or excess current can lead to damage.
➢ When changing lamps, make sure that the operating voltage or
operating current is properly set for the new lamp.
