The XMp3i™ Travel Antenna improves the live reception of your XMp3i™ Radio
while travelling:

bus or even a passenger in a vehicle.

To use the Travel Antenna with the XMp3i™ Radio, plug the Travel Antenna
connector into the connector on the bottom of the XMp3i™ Radio as shown.
Be sure that the connector is oriented with the arrow up, as shown.
The Travel Antenna can then be placed
on a window using the suction cup to
adhere the antenna. The antenna should
be oriented up as shown.
Did the signal strength improve when you
connected the Travel Antenna? If the
signal strength is still low, try moving to
another location:
• Move closer to, or next to, the
window
• Move to the opposite side of the
train, taxi, bus, or vehicle
• Move to another location within
the train or bus
If you still experience a low signal:
• Make sure that the Travel Antenna connector is fully seated into the
connector on the XMp3i™ Radio.
• Verify that the Travel Antenna is oriented up, as shown above.
TIP!
The Travel Antenna cannot improve the XM signal if no XM signal is
present, like when you are going through a tunnel. And, if you are inside a
building, such as a bus terminal or train station, the Travel Antenna may
not receive a good signal.
