The second time zone
The time zone hand is set with crown “C”. Release crown “C”, set it to position
“C2” and turn it anticlockwise. If you are setting the watch between 9 p.m.
and 3 a.m., make sure that you only turn the crown anticlockwise. Otherwise,
the mechanism could be damaged.
Chronograph function
Your watch features a stopwatch function. The central stopwatch second
hand and the subsidiary stopwatch hands for hours and minutes are used for
measuring and recording time. The measurement starts when button “A” is
pressed once. Pressing it a second time stops measurement and pressing a
third time resumes measurement. This process can be repeated as many times
as you wish. This allows you to add up and record the cumulative time. Press
button “B” to reset the hands of the stopwatch to zero.
Pilot’s bezel
The pilot’s bezel is a ring with a minutes scale which can be turned in both
directions with crown “D”. It is used – independent of the chronograph – to
measure times of up to one hour by setting the luminescent triangle on the
bezel to the tip of the minutes hand, from which point on the time elapsed can
be read off on the bezel.
