Using Your SteamChoice Steam
BUILT-IN ANTI-SCALE SYSTEM
The built-in Anti-Scale System is designed to reduce the build-up of lime scale which
occurs during steam ironing. This will prolong the working life of your iron.
NOTE: The anti-scale cartridge will not completely stop the natural process of lime scale
build-up.
SELF-CLEANING
The Self-Cleaning function removes the scales and minerals built up in the Steam
Chamber. The iron will remain in optimal condition if this function is performed at least
once a month (or more often), depending on the hardness of the water used.
1. Unplug the Power Cord from an electrical outlet.
2. Fill the Water Tank as described in this manual.
3. Plugin the Power Cord to an electrical outlet.
4. Switch on the iron and select the “MAX” temperature setting.
DRAIN THE WATER TANK
1. Switch off the Iron.
2. Unplug Power Cord from the electrical outlet.
3. Open the Water Tank Door and drain the Water Tank.
4. Gently shake iron to remove any remaining water from the Tank.

se the Water Tank Door.
ANTI-DRIP SYSTEM
The anti-drip system is designed to automatically
prevent water from escaping through the soleplate
when the iron is cold. During use, a “click” sound may
be heard from the anti-drip system, particularly during
heat-up or while cooling down. This is normal and
indicates that the system is functioning correctly.
