Anti -calc cartridge
The anti-calc cartridge has been designed to reduce the build-up of scale
produced during steam ironing, helping to extend the useful life of your iron.
Nevertheless, the anti-calc cartridge cannot remove all the scale that is
produced naturally over time.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Possible cause Solution
Soleplate (11) is not
heating even though
iron is turned on. Connection problem. Check main power sup-
ply cable plug and out-
let.
Iron does not produce
steam. Not enough water in
tank. Fill water tank.
Steam control (3) is se-
lected in non-steam po-
sition. Set steam control be-
tween positions of mini-
mum and maximum
steam.
Spray function does
not work. Not enough water in
tank. Fill water tank.
Steam jet and vertical
steam jet function does
not work. Steam jet function was
used very frequently
within a short period. Put iron on horizontal
position and wait before
using steam jet function.
Iron is not hot enough. Wait until temperature
indicator light (8) goes
off.
The iron is leaking. No proper closing of the
descaling system. Actuate a few times the
“clean” button (6).
White streaks come
through the holes in the
soleplate. The soleplate (11) has
a build-up of scale be-
cause it has not been
self-cleaned regularly. Do the descaling pro-
cess. Remember to
do it at least every two
weeks.
