• If the jug is correctly placed into its seat, the indicator light turns on and
blinks. The appliance beeps twice. The inner light starts blinking.
• The water level display shall always be cleaned before each use. Otherwise,
the appliance cannot properly detect the amount of coffee into the jug.
• Do not use the appliance if the jug is empty or
fi
lled with water only.
• Never add milk or any other liquids to the jug. Only use the appliance with
water.
• If the display is not properly clean, the jug is empty, or the MAX water level
is exceeded, the indicator light turns red and starts
fl
ashing. The inner light
turns off. The appliance beeps three times.
6. Press the power button to start coffee brewing (Fig. 2).
• The indicator light turns off and the inner light turns on. The appliance plays
a melody.
• Brewing time depends on the amount of coffee into the jug:

• The brewing process can be stopped early by removing the jug from its seat.
• When removing the jug during operation, the indicator light and the inner

• When the brewing process is complete, the indicator light blinks three times.

7. Lift the jug by its handle. Remove the jug from the appliance.
8. Pour coffee into the cups.
CLEANING THE APPLIANCE
•
All cleaning operations described below shall be carried out when the
appliance is off and unplugged from the mains socket.
• Regular maintenance and cleaning preserve and keep the appliance ef
fi
cient
for a longer period of time. Never wash the appliance components in the
dishwasher. Do not use direct water jets to clean the appliance body.
• Cleaning and maintenance operations shall only be carried out after the
appliance has completely cooled down.
