Attaching pads to Rack
The SD1000 Drum Rack comes preassembled with all clamps already in place. Once assembled, refer to the Simmons SD1000 Manual
for instructions on how to hook up cabling, set up the sound module, connect to your computer, and more.

Pull rack out of box. (Right side rack is packed
separately in same box, so remove at this time
for assembly)
Loosen wing nuts
on side arms and snare
clamps so you can rotate bars.

Pull the side arms and snare arm out into
their playing positions.
Attach right side arm to rack, which was
packed in separately in the same box.
Tighten wing nuts on side arm clamps.
Loosen L-rod wing nuts on tom
clamps. Insert textured plastic of
L-rod into tom clamps and tighten
wing nuts.
Loosen wing nuts on pads.
Attach pads to L-rods and tighten
wing nut on Tom Pads.
