boiler input in Kcal/h
H height of the flue in meters mea-
sured from the flame axis to the
flue outlet into the atmosphere.
When dimensioning the flue, the
ef fective height of the flue in
met er s mus t be considered,
measured from the flame axis to
the top of the flue, reduced by:
– 0.50 m for each change of
direction of the connection
union between boiler and flue;
– 1.00 f or each hor izont al
metre of the union itself.
Our boilers are the B
23
type and do
not need any particular connections
other than the one to the flue as
described above.

boilers are set to be connected to ø
80/125 stainless steel coaxial flues
that can be adjusted to the most sui-
table direction for room require-
ments (fig. 6).
The maximum acceptable length of
the flue must not be over 7.0 equi-
valent me t er s. Load losses in
meters for each single accessory
to be used in the exhaust configura-
tion are indicated in Table A.
Only use original SIME accessories
and make sure that connections are
correct as indicated in the instruc-
tions supplied with the accessories.
