6.12 Electrical connections
Sime
SOLO HE EV
thermal units require the connections shown
below, which must be carried out by the installer or by profes-
sionally qualified personnel.
To connect the electrics:
– remove the front panel (1) to access the control panel
– loosen the screws (2) securing the control panel and turn the
latter forward to access the terminal block inside the panel
(MIQ).
The cables must enter from the thermal unit rear and must be
locked once the job has been completed with the tear-proof ca-
ble clip already fitted. Once the connections have been made,
reassemble what was previously dismantled.

Connections to be made by the installer
The electrical connections to be made include:
– power supply 230V - 50Hz with magnetothermic switch
– connection of the room thermostat (TA) or timer-controlled
thermostat, after having removed the jumper between termi-
nals 4 and 5
– if a time programmer is used, remove the bridge between ter-
minals 5 and 8 and connect the programmer timer-controlled
thermostat (CTP) to terminals 5, 7, 8 and 9.

Before carrying out filling interventions:
– check that the system’s main switch is set to “OFF”
– check that the manual relief valve and the system discharge
valve (1) are closed
