How does Mosquito Free 25
™
work?
Mosquito Free 25
™
uses a technology with adapted
frequencies that will repel the biting female mosquitos. Only the fertilized female mosquitos bite,
because they need blood to make the eggs develop. Male mosquitos live on plant juices. The
actual frequencies create a sound pattern similar to swarming male mosquitos. This will activate
the female natural behaviour to draw back from the male mosquitos, since they already are
fertilized.
Are the frequencies adjustable?
Use the side button to switch between the different
frequencies to achieve maximum effect. The lower frequency mirrors the ef
fi
cient span for the
female mosquito natural behavior, and the upper frequency gives an effective repelling.

please read the following instructions carefully:
• Plug the device into a 230 V outlet.
• Position ”LOW” – A an audible sound similar to female mosquitos will be transmitted.
• Position ”HIGH” – A similar high frequency sound normally inaudible to humans will be
transmitted.
• High frequency sound does not penetrate solid objects and will be absorbed by soft textile
and insulating material. Be sure to place the device in open spaces where the sound waves can
spread.
• Position ”LOW” is audible as monotonous sound. Normally one gets used to such monotonous
sound, but in case it gets uncomfortably, we recommend the ”HIGH” position frequency. This
higher frequency is normally not uncomfortably to humans.
