Switching the appliance on/off
The appliance will remain in standby mode for about 3 minutes if the mains plug
is plugged into a power socket. The appliance will then switch off automatically.
♦
Press the
button for 2 seconds to switch the appliance off. The button
lights and the control lamp goes out.
♦
Press the
button
again to switch the appliance back on in standby
mode.
Boiling water
♦
Lift the jug off the base to fill it with water.
♦
Open the lid by pressing the release button .
♦
Fill the jug no further than the
MAX
mark to ensure that no boiling water
can spill out; however, do fill it at least up to the
0.7 L
mark. When filling,
hold the jug upright. This allows you to read the scale correctly.
♦
Close the lid by pushing it down until it clicks into place.
♦
Place the filled jug onto the base .
♦
Insert the plug into a mains power socket. You will hear a beep and all buttons
will light up blue briefly. Afterwards, the control lamp and temperature
button
100°C
will light up blue.
♦
Press the
button
to start the heating process. The
button will
light up blue during the heating process.
♦
As soon as the water boils, you will hear a beep and the button
goes out.
WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!

Do not open the lid while the water is boiling or extremely hot. There is a
risk of scalding.
NOTE
►
You can stop the heating process at any time by pressing the
button
or removing the jug from the base .
►
If you remove the jug from the base during the heating process, the
heating process will stop and the control lamp flashes blue.
►
When you replace the jug on the base , the heating process will not
be continued until you press the
button again.
