RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

This appliance must only be connected to a properly installed
wall power socket providing electrical energy at the level detailed
on the rating plate.
►
Under no circumstances may the appliance be submersed in fl uids
or fl uids be allowed to permeate the housing. The appliance
must not be exposed to moisture or used outdoors. Should liquids
enter the housing, disconnect the appliance from the mains power
socket immediately and arrange for it to be repaired by a qualifi ed
technician.
►
In event of operating malfunctions and before cleaning the appli-
ance, remove the plug from the mains power socket.
►
Disconnect the appliance by pulling on the plug itself, not on the
power cable.
►
Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance, and protect
the cable from being damaged.
►
To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or power cables
to be replaced at once by qualifi ed technicians or our Customer
Service Department.
►
Do not kink or crush the power cable, and route it in such a way
as to prevent people from stepping on or tripping over it.
►
Do not use extension cables.
►
Never hold the appliance, the power cable or the power plug
with wet hands.
►
Unplug the appliance immediately after use. The appliance is
completely free of electrical power ONLY when unplugged.
