1) Use a Philips screwdriver to remove the small screw on the battery compart-
ment

2) Remove the cover from the battery compartment

3) Remove the old batteries, if present.
4) Insert new batteries according to the polarity diagram of the battery com-
partment

5) Close the battery compartment
