Troubleshooting
This section contains important information on fault identification and
rectification. Follow the instructions to avoid hazards and damage.
Fault causes and remedies
The following table will help you to identify and rectify minor malfunctions. If the
solutions presented below do not resolve the problem, please contact Customer
Service (see section
Service
).
Fault Cause Remedy
The appliance
does not suck.
The appliance is not
switched on.
Make sure that the appliance
is properly connected to the
power supply and press the
On/Off switch
.
The plug is not plugged
in. Insert the power plug into the
socket.
The mains socket is not
supplying power.
Check the house fuses
The suction power
is too weak.
The dust container is
full.
Empty the dust container .
The dust filter is dirty. Clean the dust filter .
The suction opening
is blocked.
Turn off the appliance, pull out
the
plug from the wall socket
and remove the blockage.
The UV-C lamp
does not light up.
The automatic switch-off
device of the UV-C lamp
has been activated.
Check the safety switches
left and right (see section
Safety switches
).
The UV-C lamp or
appliance is defective.
Contact Customer Service (see
section
Service
).
The vibration
head
does not
vibrate.
The vibration function is
not switched on.
Press the vibration button

An unpleasant
odour escapes
from the appliance
during suction.
Odours often develop
when new appliances
are used for the first time. The smell should disappear
after the appliance has been
used a few times.
The appliance is
defective.
Switch off the appliance, pull
out the power plug
from the
socket and contact Customer
Service (see section

).
