Malfunction causes and remedies
The following table will help with localizing and remedying minor malfunctions:

Possible cause
Solution
The connected
device will not
charge.
The voltage of the
device is not compat-
ible with the charging
station.
Consult the device's operating instructions.
Faulty connection
between the device and
the charging station.
Make sure that the adapter cable and/or iPod/
iPhone cable is properly connected to the
device and charging station.
Wrong adapter cable
used.
Check the adapter cable and, if necessary,
change it.
The charging
station LED
does not light up.
Faulty connection
between the charging
station and the mains
power supply unit

Make sure that the mains power supply unit's

connection cable is correctly connected to the
connection socket

on the charging station.
Mains power socket is
not working properly.
Check to see if the mains power socket is pro-
viding power by plugging in another device.
