Utilisation
Device on/off switch
• Switch the device on by pressing the button
STANDBY/ON
on the front side of the device.
The green operational LED
POWER
glows.
• To switch the device back into the standby mode,
press the button
STANDBY/ON
once again. The
green operational LED
POWER
extinguishes.
• To switch the device off completely, remove the
plug from the power socket.
Radio/AUX operation
• First of all, switch the device on as described
above.
• Turn the regulator
VOLUME/BUZZ
to the right, until
you feel that a slight resistance has been overcome.
The Radio/AUX operation is now switched on.
• For radio operation, use the switch
AUX/AM/FM
to select either the wave band
AM
or
FM
.
In radio operation:
To select the radio station frequency
To select the radio station frequency, turn the tuning
regulator to either the left or the right. The station
frequency will be shown in the display.
• For playback of an external audio device, use
the switch
AUX/AM/FM
to select the setting
AUX
.
Adjusting the volume.
• Turn the regulator
VOLUME/BUZZ
further to the right
to increase the sound level.
• Turn the regulator
VOLUME/BUZZ
to the left to
decrease the sound level.
Setting the alarm time
1. Press and hold the button
AL. SET
. A bell symbol
appears on the display .
2. Enter in the hour by repeatedly pressing on the
button
HOUR
.
3. Enter in the minutes by repeatedly pressing on
the button
MIN
.
4. Release the button
AL. SET
. The bell symbol
extinguishes. The alarm time is now programmed.
Alarm with the buzzer (BUZZ)
• To programme an alarm call with the buzzer,
turn the regulator
VOLUME/BUZZ
all the way to the
left, until you feel that a slight resistance has
been overcome.
Alarm with AUX-/Radio operation
• Turn the regulator
VOLUME/BUZZ
all the way to the
right, until you feel that a slight resistance has been
overcome, and then set the sound level at which
you wish to be woken.
• Using the switch
AUX/AM/FM
select the manner in
which you wish to be woken. If you wish to be
woken by the radio, tune in to a radio station
as described under “Radio/AUX operation”.
Aktivating the alarm
• To activate the alarm, press the button
AL.ON/OFF
.
In the display the symbol appears.
Note:
So that the alarm can switch itself on, the radio must
be in the standby mode.
Deactivating the alarm/Ending the alarm
• When the alarm has switched itself on, you can
switch the alarm off by pressing the button
AL.ON/OFF
. The alarm switches itself off, however,
it remains activated.
• To deactivate the alarm, press the button
AL.ON/
OFF
until the symbol in the display ex-
tinguishes.
