♦ Press down the operating lever for lowering the bread slices 3 until it
engages .
The automatic bread-centring function centres the bread in the toasting slots

and the toasting process begins . During the toasting process, the control
lamp integrated in the “Stop” button
6 lights up .
NOTE
► The operating lever 3 only engages when the cable is connected to
a mains power socket .
♦ When the desired level of browning has been reached, the appliance auto-
matically switches itself off and the slices are ejected upwards . The integrated
control lamp goes out .
Stopping the toasting process
If you wish to stop toasting, press the “Stop” button 6 . The toaster switches
itself off and the toast slices are ejected upwards . The integrated control lamp
goes out .
Heating function
The reheat function enables you to warm bread without browning it . For example,
for toast that has gone cold . The bread is heated only briefly .
♦ Insert the bread and press down the operating lever for lowering the bread
slices
3 until it engages .
♦ Press the “Reheat” button

. The integrated control lamp lights up .
♦ When the reheat process is complete, the appliance switches itself off auto-
matically and the slices are ejected upwards . The integrated control lamp
goes out .
NOTE
► Press the "Reheat" button 8 again to switch off the warming function
during operation . The integrated control lamp goes out and the warming
process switches to a normal toasting process .
