13. How to delete the files stored in Sky Share
You can delete files in PHDD mode. Once you plug USB 3.0 cable to your computer,
the Sky Share just behalves as a normal PHDD. You can read, write, and erase files in
Sky Share as a PHDD.
In addition, Sky Share app also provides “delete file” function. Referring to the figure
17 below:

14. How to safely remove Sky Share from
your computer
It’s highly recommended to have safety removal for Sky Share in order to avoid data
missing or file damage.
1. Make sure that no files in Sky Share
are still in use or transfer.
2. Safely eject the Sky Share from your computer:
• For Mac OS, drag the Sky Share
drive icon from the desktop to the trash.
• For Windows, click the Safely Remove Hardware icon.
3. Wait for the data access LED off and then remove Sky Share from your computer.
