L1 Controller
All bricks except TP900 storage modules and D-brick2 storage modules have L1
controllers. The following subsections describe the basic features of all L1 controllers:
• “L1 Controller Functions” on page 20
• “L1 Front Panel Display” on page 22

L1 Controller Functions
Table 2-1 summarizes the control and monitoring functions that the L1 controller
performs. Many of the L1 controller functions are common across all brick types;
however, some functions are applicable to a specific brick type.
