SGI UV 30 2U Service Node

The 2U-high SGI UV 30 server is available as a four-processor ICE XA service node. This 2U
service node uses four Intel E5-4600 v3 Xeon processors and supports up to 48 DIMM memory
modules plus multiple I/O modules and storage adapters. The server supports up to 24 2.5-inch
SATA drives. Figure 5-7 shows an example front and rear view of the SGI UV 30 service node
and describes the unit’s external components.
