5: SGI ICE XA Administration/Leader Servers

2U Service Nodes

For systems using a separate login, batch, I/O, fabric management, or Luster service node; the 
following SGI 2U servers are also available as options.

C2112-GP2 Service Node

The SGI Rackable C2112-GP2 standard-depth servers are 2U rackmount service nodes

. 

Each 

model of the server has two main subsystems: the 2U server chassis and a dual-processor 
serverboard. The C2112-GP2 system offered uses up to twelve hard disk drives. Figure 5-6 shows 
a front and rear view example of the C2112-GP2 service node’s components. See the
