Emergency Override
There may come a time when it will be necessary to manually disarm your Silencer system without
using your transmitter. This condition occurs if the your transmitter battery is low, dead or if your
transmitter becomes damaged or lost. Under these circumstances, it will be necessary to use your
ignition key to perform the emergency override procedure to get your vehicle operational. Repeat the
procedure below to perform the emergency override function.

1. Turn the ignition key to the "Crank" position, then turn the key off.
Repeat this procedure 1 more time.
2. Wait for 10 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition key to the "Crank" position, then turn the key off.
Repeat this procedure 1 more time.
4. Wait for 10 seconds.
5. Turn the ignition key to the "Crank" position, then turn the key off.
Repeat this procedure 1 more time and the engine will start.
Note 1: For vehicles with manual transmission, you must depress the clutch while performing the
Emergency Override procedure.
Note 2: Once disarmed, follow the procedure on Page 4 to put the unit into the Valet Mode until your
transmitter is replaced or repaired.
Note 3: Vehicles with "Power Sentinel" feature (when you turn off the ignition the radio stays on until
you open a door and then it turns off) will require that the driver’s door be open when the override
procedure is performed.
