The device does not collect data from the Logger

The firmware is probably corrupted, do a firmware update or a reset through the Portwest GPS Locator V1 Application.

My device has an abnormally low battery life or sends data even if it is not moving. 

1)  Check sensitivity parameters and adjust it to the least sensitive setting. 
2)  Check logger parameters (GPS intervals).
