6.5.
Resetting the GL7x00
Resetting the GL7x00 could be triggered by the AT command
AT+CFUN=1,1
, or it could be done by
simply unplugging and then re-plugging the power supply (DCIN).
In addition to Sierra Wireless’ reliable recovery mechanisms, it is highly recommended that the ability
for a power cycle to reboot the modem be included in the design in case the modem becomes
blocked and stops responding to reset commands.
Last Gasp should be disabled before performing a hardware reset on the GL7600 to prevent the
modem from sending emergency messages while the modem's main power supply is unplugged.
