Installation 

1.  Determine the optimal location of the FLNX and 

antenna for RF communications. 

Ideally, the antenna should extend below the 
terminal box. 

2.  Mount the FLNX using the provided screws. 

You can also use double-sided tape or 
VELCRO

®

 fasteners. 

3. Set 

the 

Channel

 and 

Network ID

 switches to 

the settings selected for the WFLN. 

4.  Connect the communication port of the FLN 

device to the FLNX (Figure 4). The maximum 
cable length is 4000 ft (1219 m). 

5.  Connect to 24 Vac power (Figure 4).  

 

CAUTION: 

 

If the FLNX shares the power supply with a 
Wireless TEC Transceiver (TTX, P/N 550-
205) and the TEC, be sure to use a ground 
isolated transformer (P/N 550-710) 
between the TTX and the power 
transformer.

1. Thread TEC power

wire through
connector.

2. Fold up flap to

lock TEC wire
into connector.

3. Insert power wire

from FLNX into
connector so it
appears in window.

4. Use lineman’s

pliers to pinch
connecting bar in 
place and connect
wires internally.

5. Close connector

cover to secure
wires.
