Current terminals
The 8-pole current terminal with 4 integrated current transformers is available in 2 variants:
•
4 protection-class current transformers
•
3 protection-class current transf 1 sensitive protection-class current transformer
The terminal design provides the following advantages for the connection of currents:
•
Exchange of the current-transformer type also possible retroactively on-site (for example, sensitive to
normal ground-current transformers in case of network conversions)
•
Additional safety during tests or device replacement since the secondary current-transformer circuits
always remain closed.
Voltage terminal
The voltage transformers and the binary input and output signals are connected via the 14-pole voltage
terminal. The cable route away from the device enables clear terminal wiring. Jumpers precisely matching the
current and voltage terminals are available for connection to common potential of contacts (see

Industry Standard Terminals
The I/O expansion board in the device is fitted with an industry standard pin strip. The externally pluggable
terminal is removable. This allows a prewiring of the systems and an easy device replacement without costly
rewiring.
The binary input and output signals are connected via this 19-pole screw terminal. Where contacts can be
connected to common potential of contacts, 1 wire jumper must also be connected in addition to the connec-
tion wire. Observe the overall connection cross-section.
