The armature converter in the single-phase mode
Up to a device nominal current of 125 A, the armature circuit of the SINAMICS DCM can also
be operated in one phase. Connection to two phases or one phase with respect to the
neutral conductor is possible. The line voltage is connected to 1U1 – 1V1.
A 4% commutation inductor or a separate transformer with 4% uk is required at the input.
The permissible output current in the single-phase mode is 67% of the three-phase mode.
Operation on a single-phase line network is selected by means of p51799 = 1
A dynamic overload is not possible in the single-phase mode.
See also Section 10.24 of the Operating Instructions.
Formulas:
Uuv: concatenated AC voltage at the input
Ideal output DC voltage: Udi[V] = 0.9 Uuv[V]
Iuv[A] = Id[A], where Iuv: input AC current, Id: output DC current
Valve current Iv[A] = 0.707 * Id;
Output DC voltage:
B2C: Ud = Udi * cos ; fully controlled circuit,
line power rating/transformer design power: P[W] = 1.11 * Udi * Id
Relationships for some operating points of the motor:
Example for single-phase operation:
Line voltage: 400 V, 50 Hz;
Commutation inductor voltage drop: 4%
voltage at the SINAMICS DCM input: 384 V
Motor: 1GG5114-0GL40-3GU7,3380 UPM, 10.5 kW
