Communication Ports
Connect any of the available Ethernet ports on the device to a management
switch and access the RUGGEDCOM RX1400 console and Web interfaces via the

Configuring the Device
Once the device is installed and connected to the network, it must be configured.
All configuration management is done via the RUGGEDCOM RX1400 interface. For

associated with the installed software release.
3.3
Installing the SIM Cards
The RUGGEDCOM RX1400 supports dual micro-SIM cards for the LTE modem to
provide a fail-over mechanism should one of the SIM cards lose connectivity with the
network.
To install micro-SIM cards from a regional cellular carrier, do the following:
