Removing and installing a tray from/in the drive cage

Requirement

●

The device is open; see section "Open the device. (Page 52)".

●

1 soft, grounded mounting base

Procedure

Read section "ESD guideline (Page 103)".

Removal

1. Detach the marked connection

cables from the relevant drive.

2. Press the side rails of the tray

inwardly and simultaneously lift

them up and out of the drive

cage.

3. Place the tray on the mounting

base.

Installation
Proceed in the reverse order for the installation. Ensure that the tray latches in the bottom of

the drive cage.
