Digital inputs INPx
The ATC6500 has 8 permanently integrated digital inputs which are designated as INPx. The
number of digital inputs can be increased by using expansion modules. For further
information, please refer to chapter Expandability by modules (Page 56).

Table of functions of the digital inputs
The table below lists all functions that can be assigned to the programmable digital inputs
INPx. Each input can be set for the reverse function NO, as well as delayed energizing or
de-energizing, at independently set times. Some functions require another numeric
parameter; this is defined in the index (x) specified by parameter P12.n.02 (channel
number).

Note
Use of an index (channel number)
An index is used if functions are to be linked to one another. For example, an input can
function as a source for a counter or for a user alarm.
