What does the Boiler service interval

reminder do?

The Boiler interval reminder function is an aid to compliance with

Regulation 36 of the Gas safety (installation and user) regulations

1998 requiring a landlord to carry out a safety check at intervals

no more than 12 months apart.
If therefore, this function has been enabled on your RWB27Si you

will see a message on the screen informing you of the amount of

days remaining until your next service is due, up to 30 day’s prior to

its service date (this reminder period will be set by the engineer).
If the message ‘SERVICE DUE SYSTEM OFF’ appears this indicates

that the system has been turned OFF for your safety and you

should arrange for an engineer to service the boiler as quickly as

possible.
The boiler can still be used to obtain basic services for a limited

time by pressing the + hrs button.
