Power LEDs Illuminate when power is being supplied to the device by either PS1
(Power Supply 1) or PS2 (Power Supply 2).
Color Description
Green The power supply is supplying
power
Off Power is off
RESET Button Shuts down and restarts the device. For more information, refer to
"Resetting the Device (Page 16)" .
Port Status LEDs Indicate when the associated port is active.
Color Meaning
Green Link detected
Off No link detected
RS232 Serial Console Port The serial console port is for interfacing directly with the device
and accessing initial management functions. For information
about connecting to the device via the serial console port, refer to
"Connecting to the Device (Page 15)" .
Communication Ports Receive and transmit data. For more information about the
various ports available for the RUGGEDCOM RS1600F, refer to
" Communication Ports (Page 17)" .
Failsafe Alarm Relay Latches to default state when a power disruption or other alarm
condition occurs. For more information, refer to:
