Operating the appliance
Note:
Switch on the extractor hood when you start cooking and
switch it off again several minutes after you have finished
cooking. This is the most effective way of removing the kitchen
fumes.
Opening and closing the ventilation panel
Opening a ventilation panel
Press the middle of one of the ventilation panels until it clicks.
Both panels open, and the appliance is ready to use.
Closing a ventilation panel
Press the middle of one of the ventilation panels until it clicks.
Both panels close. If ventilation is switched on, it switches off
when the panels are closed.
Setting the fan
Note:
Always adjust the fan strength to meet current conditions.
If there is a large build-up of steam or fumes, select a high fan
setting.
Switching on

Press the

button.
The fan starts at setting 2.

Press the + or - button to change the fan strength.
Switching off
Press the
#
button.
Intensive setting
You can use the intensive setting if there is a large build-up of
odours and fumes/vapours.
Press the
›
button while ventilation is switched on.
The intensive setting is activated.
After 10 minutes, the electronics automatically turn the
appliance down to ventilation setting
ƒ
. If you wish to end the
intensive setting before this time expires, press the
›
button.
Fan run-on time
Press the
x
button.
The fan continues to operate for a further 10 minutes, and
switches off automatically after this time. If the lighting is
switched on, it remains on.
Press the
x
button to end the fan run-on time early.
Lighting
The lighting can be switched on and off independently of the
ventilation.
Press the
@
button.
Setting the brightness
Press and hold the
@
button until the desired brightness is
reached.
Audible signal
Switching off the audible signal
With the fan switched off, press and hold the
#
and + buttons
for approx. three seconds.
An acknowledgement signal sounds.
Switching on the audible signal
Repeat the "Switching off the audible signal" process.
