Installing a USB Interface
Introduction
To connect a PC to the HiPath 1100 using a USB interface you must have a USB adapter cable
(see “USB adapter cable” on page 3-116). This interface allows you to use certain applications
developed specifically for configuring and managing user features.

Step
Procedure
1.
Plug the USB adapter cable (with the male Mini DIN Connector) into the 4-pin Mini
DIN Connector on the motherboard (Figure 4-42).
2.
Connect the A to B Standard end of the USB cable to the USB adapter, and connect
the other end to the computer or modem.
