Changing the system PIN
You can change the base station's default
4-digit system PIN to a 4-digit PIN which is
known only to you.

Assigning authorisations per handset
You can block handsets for external calls.
You can assign the following
authorisations

Call Barring Off
:
The handset can be
used without restriction.

External Calls
:
The handset can be used
to make internal calls. External calls can
be accepted.

Internal Only
:
The handset can only be
used to make internal calls.
u
Display list of handsets.

Emergency numbers
Emergency numbers are preset to local
requirements. You can enter your own
emergency numbers. The emergency
numbers are valid for all handsets.
Emergency numbers can still be dialled
even if your handset is barred for external
dialling.

Displaying and dialling an emergency
number
Emergency numbers can still be dialled
even if your handset is barred for external
dialling (p. 52) directly or as follows.
Precondition:
The handset is blocked for
external dialling.

Press the talk key.
EmerCall
Press the display key. The
available emergency numbers
are displayed. If
only one
emergency number has been
stored, this will be dialled
immediately.

Select the emergency number
and press
OK
. The connection
is set up.
If an access code has been set up (p. 54),
this will be placed in front of the
emergency number automatically.
You can still dial emergency numbers
despite authorisation blocks (p. 52).
When the keypad lock is active (p. 7), you
cannot call emergency numbers.
