Java
™
Java™ offers you the opportunity to
use numerous games and applica-
tions on your cell phone. You can
load these applications from the
Internet and install them on your cell
phone. Once installed the applica-
tion can be started. Please always
observe the relevant operating
instructions.
Siemens, however, does not guaran-
tee that downloaded and installed
Java applications will work perfectly
on your cell phone (p. 71).

Message memory full
If the message icon flashes the SIM
memory is full.
No
more SMS mes-
sages can be received. Delete or file
text messages (p. 50).
Operating time
A full battery will deliver 60 to
250 hours of standby time or 100 to
300 minutes of talktime.
The operating time depends upon
the use:
Extreme temperatures considerably
reduce the phone’s standby time.
Avoid placing the phone in the sun
or on a heater.
Outside your home network
If you are outside your home net-
work, your phone automatically dials
another GSM network (p. 86).
Own numbers
Enter "own" phone numbers in
Phonebook (e.g., fax) for informa-
tion. These numbers can be
changed, deleted and also sent as an
SMS message.
