Operating the base station answering machine

After an interruption of over one minute, the
answering machine returns to idle status.
Marking a message as new
You can mark a message you have already
heard as new again.

machine
You can take a call while the answering
machine is recording it.

Press the talk or handsfree key.
Recording stops and you can speak to the caller.
If 3 seconds of the call have already been
recorded when you pick it up, the call will be
displayed as a new message. The

handset flashes.
You can accept the call even if it is not signalled
on the handset.
Diverting an external call to the answering
machine
You can divert an incoming external call to the
answering machine even if it is switched off.
Requirement:
Sufficient storage space is avail-
able on the answering machine.
An external call is signalled on the handset.

The answering machine answers the call imme-
diately. The set time for the call acceptance
(page 22) is ignored.
Activating/deactivating listen-in
While a message is recording, you can listen to
it on the loudspeakers in the base and in the
registered Gigaset C45 handsets.
