Antenna Mounting

Direct Mount Antenna

The preferred mounting con

fi

guration is to mount

the FPX outside the

fi

eld panel enclosure and in a

location where it will establish the maximum number
of communication links with Field Level Network

Transceivers (FLNXs). For example, for a VAV
application this will likely be above the

fi

eld panel in

the ceiling plenum (Figure 2).

Remote Mount Antenna

The FPX is mounted inside the

fi

eld panel enclosure,

and the antenna is brought through a 1/2” knockout
with the antenna extending out the top of the cabinet
(Figure 3).

The antenna extension cable is 12” long.
