Siemens ePocket remote control devices have been determined via
testing by Siemens not to cause interference with cardiac pacemakers
that are manufactured and operate in compliance with applicable
regulations regarding electromagnetic compatibility for life suppor-
ting systems and, therefore, can be operated safely by, or within the
vicinity of, individuals fitted with these pacemakers. Prudent practice
however suggests that persons with pacemaker should not utilize the
ePocket remote control in a breast pocket, as a neck loop, or directly
on the skin over the implanted pacemaker.
