NK8000 is only one of the applications that can share the OTN network, together with
CCTV-, access control-, and telephony applications (not shown in Fig. 39).

Shared network
It is possible to integrate FS NK8000 and management station products into a cus-
tomer
’
s network, however you need to be aware of / satisfy the following require-
ments:
Only Ethernet is supported
The DMS PC (in general) supports 10BaseT, 100BaseT, and so on, but this de-
pends on the network card in the PC
NK822x supports ONLY 10BaseT, Half-duplex
Each management station-PC and each NK822x needs a fixed IP-Address (NO
DHCP)
An RJ45 Ethernet outlet must be close to the facility
