Resource Conflicts
If you encounter problems when you first start up
the module, the reasons may be as follows:

Remedy
The resources requested
by the module are not
available.
This is displayed by the
PCI BIOS before the sy-
stem boots.
The message depends on
the BIOS and will be so-
mething like:”Resource
Conflict – Pci Network
Controller as slot ....”
Change the hardware
configuration of the
computer so that the
required resources are
free. (See Chapter 2)
The resources assi-
gned to the module by
the PCI BIOS are al-
ready being used by
non–plug and play ISA
modules.
Change the configura-
tion of the ISA module
involved.
