3.5 Replacement

Parts

When the CP 243-1 IT (6GK7 243-1GX00-0XE0) module is replaced, no new pro-
gramming is required on the S7 communication side since configuration data and
the user program are stored retentively on the S7-200 CPU. The CP 243-1 IT must
be programmed again for the IT functions since the configuration files, among oth-
ers, for the IT services are stored in the file system of the CP 243-1 IT.
