insert the battery

With the phone face down and the top
pointing away from you, position the
battery so that the gold contacts touch
the gold contacts inside the phone.

Insert the left side of the battery first.
You should be able to see the word
SIEMENS at the top of the battery.

Slide the battery cover into place.

Push the cover up and away from the
phone.

Press the release catch on the battery
and lift it out of the phone.

charge the battery

The first charge must be for a minimum of
2 hours in order to achieve optimum
performance. Subsequent charges should
be 2 hours if the battery is completely flat.
You can make calls whilst charging as long
as you have registered with Orange.

Plug your charger into a mains socket.

Insert the lead into the socket on the
base of your phone. The battery
indicator on the display will pulse whilst
charging. Do not remove the battery
covers whilst charging.

To remove the charger lead lift the base
and pull gently away.

Rechargeable batteries have a limited
lifespan and Orange recommend that you
purchase a new one every year.
