When using “T9” for entering mes-
sages, you only need to enter one
keystroke for each letter. T9 deduc-
es the correct word from the individ-
ual key entries by making compari-
sons with a comprehensive
dictionary. If a number of letters is
possible with a key combination, T9
chooses the most common word
and offers a list of possible alterna-
tives.
